wow.....when I purchased my last sewing machine, the lady explained to me the - 10 bobbin rule. And I have followed it since then over 10 years ago. I fill 10 bobbins, when I have used those I actually clean, vac out, change my needle and dust my machine. I also have it professionally cleaned every year. I think it will help to save my machine and I can use it until......... I purchased 30 bobbins at that point. Just works for me. And changing a needle with every new project!
