Add your items!!

Today is the last day...I'm giving away some fabric (most likely Katie Jump Rope or FleaMarket Fancy!) as a thank you for helping me generate a list to help family members (my husband) do some shopping! Okay, I'm doing it because it's fun and I need to get into the mood somehow...

These are all fantastic ideas so far. Do you have a MUST HAVE tool that you would recommend as a stocking stuffer or gift for a quilter? Is there something on YOUR list?

  1. Thread, and more thread! Tape measures too - mine are always disappearing....

  2. I thought of another one - a Kwik Klip for basting quilts. I couldn't survive without mine.

  3. I love my Shape Cut Plus ruler. It allows me to cut strips of fabric quickly, without constantly moving the ruler.

My list includes a bobbin threader and a new cutting wheel (blade). I always need a spare.
    Have a happy holiday.

  5. I love the Kwik Klip too, but a good pair of snips for right beside the sewing machine (not allowed to walk anywhere else in the room) and I love the chalkaliner thingamajig! Happy stocking stuffing!

  6. I can't imagine quilting before the days of olfa rulers and rotary cutters, so necessary.

I've gotten the new sewline pencils and I do like them, though the pink seems to work much better than the white.

  7. You would have to really like her because it is not cheap. But the Bernina Lady's Knife ( http://www.berninausa.com/product_detail-n44-i133-sUS.html ) would be nice to find in your stocking. I had forgotten about it until you challenged me. :)
